Obituary for Barry Jay Blake
Barry Jay Blake, age 68, passed away on February 10, 2021 in Iron County Utah. He was born on December 9, 1952 to Lester and Colleen Shakespeare Blake in Cedar City, Utah. Barry was raised in Cedar City and loved exploring in the mountains, fishing, and collecting deer and elk horns with his best friend Robin Stratton. He graduated from Cedar High School in 1970. He enlisted in the US Army and served in the USA and Germany for 5 years. He worked as a truck driver and auto mechanic.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alan (Bobbie) Blake, and son Curtis Blake. He is survived by his children, Jay Blake, Eric Blake, Billy Blake, Gleniecia Lewis, Sarah Rodriquez, and his sisters Carin (Everett) Snyder, Arlene (Bruce) Cornelius, Deborah Alcanter, and Cherish Blake. He will be missed by many relatives and friends.

Graveside Services were held at the Summit Cemetery on February 15, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Interment was under the direction of Affordable Funeral Services.
