Obituary for Michael Farinella

Beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend, Michael Farinella, age 75, passed away on July 9, 2020 at his home in Cedar City, UT. Michael was born in Santa Monica, CA to Albert and Martha Farinella. He was the youngest of five children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his four sisters, Aileen, Kathy, Barbara, and his twin sister Tina.

He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal. His daughters Stacy (Mike) Gunnip and Brandy (Miguel) Douglas. Grandchildren Malik, Argon, Jayden, Zayla, Alexis, Katrina (Douglas) Bearden and Tasha (Korey) Farinella-James. Great-grandchildren Jayden, Jordan, Elijah, Jaxson, Emmett and Charlotte. His brother-in-law Robert Stewart. Also many nieces and nephews who fondly refer to him as “Unc”.

After his honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, he began his engineering career at Lockheed Aircraft Factory, later known as Lockheed-Martin. During his time there, he worked on many different programs that he thoroughly enjoyed. He retired after 33 years of service.

Michael perfected retirement. He loved camping with his wife, cooking for his friends, and tinkering in his woodshop.

We are so appreciative of our church family from Calvary Chapel Cedar City and our wonderful neighborhood community. We have been blessed by their love and support.

The Celebration of Life For Michael will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00.
