Obituary for Brandon Jay Morgan

Brandon Jay Morgan, age 45, passed away in an unexpected tragic accident doing what he loved most, working on cars.

Brandon was born on Sept 9th, 1977 in West Valley City, Utah to Jerry Morgan and Teresa Judd. Weighing in at 8 lbs 1oz and 22 inches, he came screaming into the world like the wild one he was, he was always a big boy with an even bigger heart.

Brandon lived in Tooele, Utah as a young boy then relocated with his family to Cedar City, Utah where he lived out the remainder of his short but big life. As a school boy Brandon liked to tear apart anything that had an engine. His biggest attraction was to lawn mowers. Much to his parents' dismay, they would often come home to find Brandon had torn apart their lawnmower again. Unfortunately, it took Brandon years to figure out how to put them back together. As Brandon grew older his love for lawnmowers turned to a love of cars. You would find Brandon working on cars at any given time for anyone. Brandon was never about the money, he was about helping people when they needed it most.

Brandon married Danielle Ashdown in 2007. They later divorced but could not stay away from each other, spending every day together. Realizing a little to late that getting married a second time was too expensive they decided to stay together raising their son, Brayden as best friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his step dad Gary Potter, his Grandma Retta James and his Uncle Kendall Judd. Brandon often expressed how much he loved and missed his family members who had passed on. A joyful reunion is taking place in heaven. Brandon is survived by the love of his life Danielle; children, Braydon Morgan, Josh Blouch, and Taylor Beagley; parents, Jerry (Anne’Marie) Morgan, Teresa Potter; siblings, Kymberely Judd, JR (Jenifer) Morgan, and Mike Morgan; niece, Payten (Jack) Robinson; nephews, Stone (Cherise) Crawford, and River Morgan as well as many cousins, uncles and aunts who will deeply miss his loud laugh and all the joy he brought to our family.
