Obituary for Charles Edward "Chuck" Birdsong

Chuck Birdsong, beloved family member and friend passed away August 2, 2021.
Chuck is the son of Douglas Dean Birdsong, Catherine M Saurett, and stepson of Wayne M Roberts.
After graduating Milford High School in 1973, Chuck honorably served in the US Army. After discharge, he attended SUSC (SUU) and ultimately landed a position with a civil contractor to the US armed forces, where he stayed throughout his career.
In retirement, Chuck struck fortune by working at 2 locations he loved most: The Canyon Breeze Golf Course and the Cedar Bowling Center. It was at these two businesses where Chuck made many friends and "adopted" many as family, as they did him.
Chuck earned local legend status with achievements such as hitting the Trifecta on Canyon Breeze Golf Course where he hit a hole-in-one on EACH of the Par 3's, THREE separate times!
As a Senior Olympian, Chuck earned several medals in bowling. It wasn't unusual for Chuck to step up with a bowling ball in hand, and throw a 300 game!
He happily mentored those who asked for skill guidance. He even provided many with equipment so they could take up the sport.
Chuck is survived by many, yet not enough. His generosity of spirit, dry wit, smile with twinkle in his eye and crinkles at the corners - they've always been there and always will be. We're going to miss you my dad, my brother, my uncle, my sweetheart!

Many thanks to all who've helped Chuck and family during this time, especially Nick Jones & The Cedar Bowling Center and the Sue Byers family.

GO Utes!
