Obituary for Danette Worthen (Hunter)
Danette Hunter Worthen, age 45, loving mother of three, started her next journey in heaven on December 8, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Danette was born on June 16, 1977 to her mother, Karen Hunter, and her father, Steve Hunter.
Danette grew up in Cedar City, Utah surrounded by her big family. In December of 1996, Danette met her husband, Michael, and proceeded to bring her three best friends into this world, her daughters Ashlyne, Brianna, and Shayla.
Danette started her career in being a CNA/Med Tech since her passion was to help others. Danette was a loving and kindhearted woman, always giving her time to others, and constantly putting others before herself, especially her three daughters. Danette would often be caught shopping or going for drives to explore the beautiful world around her. She loved the beach, going to the mall, and spending time with her family as often as possible. Danette believed it was very important to be kind to others and her faith in God was unwavering. She touched the lives of many people and will still continue to do so, as she will forever be in our hearts. Danette will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her laugh and smile will fill the heavens, constantly.
There will be a small Visitation for those who would like to say their last goodbyes and pay their respects to Danette on December 14, 2022 from 11:00-12:30 am at Heartlight Funeral Services (2002 North Main Street Cedar City Utah 84721). Grave side services will follow at 1:00 pm at the Cedar City Cemetery.
