Diana Lee (Erickson) Jackson, age 79, passed away on September 26,2021 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born August 31, 1942 in Hailey, Idaho to Evelyn and Howard (Bud) Erickson.
Diana was raised in the Zion National Park where she could be found playing surrounded by the beauty of the park. Diana graduated from North Sevier High School and went on to receive her beauty license. Soon after Diana met and married Donald (Dean) Jackson on August 22,1962. In Salt Lake City, Utah and were sealed in the Manti temple on May 14, 1964. Together they had five children, who she raised all while working at the family motel, in Richfield, Utah. The family moved and loved living in Cedar City, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a great beautician and loved sewing, music, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed her job at CAL Ranch for over 15 years.
Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, and her eldest daughter Cherie Palmer, and grandson Alex Forman. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Forman; Teresa Taintor and her son's Clark Jackson; Scott Jackson; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Affordable Funeral Services (2002 North Main St, Cedar City Utah. Friends and family are welcome to join the viewing services at 10:00-10:45 AM. The family will hold a closed service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will be held the same day at 3:00 pm at the Salina Pioneer Cemetery, Salina Utah. A lunch will be provided for the family following the graveside service at the park in Salina.
