Jane Aileen (Cripps) Davies, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Jane was born June 20, 1947 in Riverside, California to Cleo Edwin Cripps and Betty Jane White. Most of Jane’s childhood was spent in North Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the oldest of 4 children. She had two sisters, Darlene and Mary, and one brother, Terry. Jane was very involved in school and always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating high school and seminary, she attended BYU, where she attended a dance class and met her husband, Lloyd Davies. Lloyd was smitten, he bribed his instructor so that he could dance with her. They were united for eternity on July 27, 1967 in the Cardston Alberta Temple.
Jane was an amazing mother to six children. Janene, Denise and Michael were born in the United States. Jane and Lloyd moved to Canada where Nadine, Brian and Brent were born. She was a fantastic seamstress and quilter, loved camping, fishing and the outdoors. She loved her family with her whole heart and would do anything for them.
After 55 years of marriage, she is survived by her husband Lloyd Davies, her children Janene (Mike) Buchanan, Denise (Brad) Nelson, Michael (Holly) Davies, Nadine (Omer) Collins, Brian (Star) Davies, Brent (Valerie) Davies, 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Services are on Saturday November 12, 2022. The viewing will be at 9:30 am with the funeral service at 11 am. All Services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 40 E Midvalley Road
