Obituary for Jerry Campbell

Jerry Campbell, age 61, after a valiant and arduous battle with cancer passed away November 13th, 2022, in his home with his beloved wife and children by his side. He was born June 24th, 1961, in Redlands, California to Jared Taylor Campbell and Nancy Nordyke-Shelley. He grew up in southern California where he graduated from Colton High School and went on to get his Associates degree from San Bernardino Bible College where he met his wife of 34 years, Grace Stella Campbell (Mauricio). They started their lives together in San Bernardino and then three years later they made the move to Paragonah, Utah where they built their home for the next 30 years. Jerry devoted his life to his family, various ministries including teaching children’s church, and woodworking. Many will remember him for his incredible talent and creativity in his building of cabinetry and guitars. He is survived by his wife, Grace Campbell; their children, Angela (Andrew) Leddy, Joshua Campbell, and Jared Campbell; their grandchildren Madoc Leddy and Hayvann Campbell; Jerry's parents, Jared Campbell and Nancy Nordyke-Shelley; his siblings, Joy Campbell, Jeff Campbell, and Mark Stein; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at Grace Christian Church, 845 W 200 S, Parowan, UT. 84760 at 12pm with a light luncheon to follow. For those unable to attend in person, the service can be viewed virtually online through the gccparowan.com website through YouTube and Facebook. The family wishes to thank all of those that have devoted their time and resources so generously during Jerry’s battle and that continue to do so after. They also wish to extend their gratitude to the Cedar City Cancer Center and IHC Hospice Staff for their support and care for Jerry
