Obituary for Kathleen Dalley

Kathleen Dalley, 74, passed away December 14, 2019 in Cedar City, Utah following a stroke.
Kathleen was born March 19, 1945 in Cedar City to Hyrum Ivan and Susannah Jones Dalley. She grew up in Summit surrounded by loving relatives and friends. She attended school in Cedar City.She enjoyed the monthly lunches with her Cedar High 1963 classmates.
She spent her working years as a bookkeeper in Salt Lake City. Following her retirement, she moved back to Summit.
Kathleen always adored babies and children. She satisfied this love by borrowing neighbors’ children and being The Favorite Aunt.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved temple service and ministering to her neighbors.
She loved to read and watch cooking shows and major league baseball.
She loved decorating for all of the holidays. She especially loved Christmas. She collected nativity sets and Night Before Christmas books. “She’ll be home for Christmas”. We believe she is having a joyous reunion with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Jane Rasmussen, her brother and sister-in-law Ivan Leon Dalley and Pat Dalley, her brother-in-law Kenneth Vern Aston and two nephews, Jeff and Craig Dalley.
She is survived by her sister Bonnie Aston, her brother David J Dalley and his wife Rene, her sister Maxine Munson and her husband Scott, her brother-in-law Paul Rasmussen and his wife Peggy, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, in the Summit Ward Chapel at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Summit Cemetery.
