Obituary for Kenneth White

Kenneth White
1941 -2018

Dad passed away at his home on November 17, 2018. He was born May 24, 1941 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Joseph White and Esther Twitchell. Dad lost both his parents at a very young age and was raised in Woodland, Utah by the Cliff Gines family.

Dad robbed the cradle and married the love of his life Brenda Page on September 21, 1963, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He had a tender relationship with our mother, he respected, admired and appreciated the many hours of service that she rendered him. He cherished their friendship and they truly love each other.

Dad loved spending time with his family more than anything else. They were his life. He worked several jobs in order to provide for his family. Regardless of finances or work obligations, Dad ensured that every year his family would get together and enjoy each other’s company. Because of our parents combined efforts to keep our family strong and united, their children have remained the best of friends. Dad had a huge heart and loved giving and helping everyone. Dad was a prankster and jokester he loved to tease everyone. If he didn’t tease you, he didn’t like you.

He graduated from South Summit High School in Kamas, Utah. Dad served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the East Central States. Dad had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ which reflected in his countenance.

He leaves behind his wife Brenda, their six children; Kenda White, Mike and Tawnie Reynolds, Craig and Angie Larson, Kyle and Shrene White, Brandon and Rebekah White and Joseph and Shallan Covington. Also 31 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, and Sister Peggy Odle. His best fur friend Bootsie will also miss him. He had more family than we can list and more friends than there is room to mention.

Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Esther White and his foster parents Cliff and Francelle Gines. Brother Norman Twitchell and grandson, Matthew Larson.

Please join us in celebrating his life. Saturday November 24, 2018 at the Enoch 3rd Ward Chapel. 451 East Midvalley Road. Viewing from 11:00 –12:30 funeral to be held at 1:00. Under the direction of Affordable Funeral Services.
