Obituary for Kevin Stubbs Truman

Kevin Stubbs Truman passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Parowan, Utah on April 14, 2020 at the age of 65. Kevin was born on September 11, 1954 in Cedar City, Utah to Elmer J. and Lyla Stubbs Truman. Kevin lived and went to school in Parowan until he was 11. His family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he completed his education.
Kevin returned to Parowan where he was able to enjoy his hobbies and quiet time in the mountains. He loved to hunt, fish, fly RC airplanes, ham radio, and wood turning. Kevin worked at Gore Manufacturing and Valley View Medical Center as a floor maintenance specialist. After retirement he enjoyed many happy hours with the southern Utah Wood Turners Association and the Southern Utah Ham Radio Club. Kevin was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as a faithful home teacher and assistant ward clerk for many years. Kevin loved to do temple and family history work.
Kevin leaves behind his mother, Lyla S. Truman, one sister Margaret (David) Yardley, one brother Nolan (Judy) Truman, nieces and nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer J. Truman. Kevin was always thinking of other people and loved to share his many talents with them. We love you Kevin.

Because of the Covid-19 quarantine, a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of Affordable Funeral Services.
