Obituary for Peggy Ann Pruett

Peggy Ann (Ramsdell) Pruett, age 80, passed away at home on Sept 12, 2021. She was born in Santa Barbara, California on 2-27-41, the second child of George and Barbara Ramsdell. Peggy was raised in a military family, giving her the opportunity to travel with her parents and two brothers. This led to a lifetime passion of traveling.

Peggy attended beauty school and became a talented hairdresser as her first career. She was able to do some modeling, as well. Her variety of jobs such as bartender, long-haul truck driver and finally a contract driver for the United States Post Office, led to a long and exciting career.

Peggy gave birth to three beautiful daughters, Cathy (Steve) Ruesch of Utah, Cari (Tom) Zocco of New Mexico, and Lisa (John) Patterson of Arizona. Even though she only recently met Cari and Lisa, she loved all three girls fiercely. She was very outgoing, was known to always help a stranger and give the shirt off her back if she felt someone needed it. She was an animal lover and had an immense love for her pets.

Peggy She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Al Ramsdell, niece Barbara Renée Isaacs and her nephew Benjamin Ramsdell. She is survived by her three daughters, her brother Lane Ramsdell and nephew Patrick Ramsdell. Peggy is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Lindsay and Tori Ruesch, Nick, Adam, and Matt Zocco; and Travis, Jordin, and Chance Patterson, along with her nieces and nephews and most of all, her dog Squirt.
