Roberta Estelle Branham Loveland was born on January 23, 1933 in Ridgeway, South Carolina
to Bennie Rich Branham and Ola Mae Kelly Branham. She was the ninth of ten children. She
passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Odell C. Loveland, two grandsons, Mark Kelly and Joseph Loveland, one
great-grandson, Aiden Gonzales, her parents, one brother and six sisters. She is survived by
seven children; Janice Loveland of Enoch, Carla (Mike) Kelly of Gilbert, AZ, Beverly (Lynn)
Huntsman of Elsinore, UT, Vicki (Dennis) VanBeveren of Las Vegas, Odell (Marilyn) Loveland Jr.
of Enoch, Bennie Loveland of Enoch, and Russ (Monica) Loveland of Las Vegas; 31
grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Ellen Downs
and Lillie Cooper.
She met Odell, her husband and eternal companion, at church while he was serving in the US
Army and training at Ft. Jackson, SC. She worked as a telephone operator at the Southern Bell
Telephone Company prior to her marriage. She loved to tie quilts and give them to family,
friends and those in need.
Roberta served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including
Relief Society President, Young Womens President, Primary President, Stake Relief Society
Counselor, Ward Missionary, Temple Worker, ministering sister, and served a mission with her
husband in Rapid City, South Dakota. She worked along-side her husband in many jobs during
their retirement years.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Horizon Home Health and Hospice for their loving
care of our mother and grandmother.
Her funeral will be held at the Garden Park Ward at 451 East Midvalley Road in Enoch, UT, on
Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing held at the Garden Park Chapel, on
Thursday evening, March 31st from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m,. and on Friday morning from 9:00 - 10:30
a.m. prior to the funeral services.
