She lived in Holtville for a big part of her life. While there she raised her 4 children: Johnnie, Melo, Martin, and Patrick. They traveled and lived in various places throughout the western United States, finally settling in Cedar City, Utah.
Carol had several passions in her life. She loved to cook for anyone and everyone who would stop by. She loved people and made friends with everyone she met. She also loved to read. She loved Tom Selleck and any show he was in, but most of all, she loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband, John Franklin Gandy. She is survived by her children, Johnnie (Nathan) Collmar, Mello (Scott) Eversole, Martin (Christine) Rowland, Patrick (Brandy) Rowland, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the following people/groups: Dr. North for always sharing a joke with her; Josie, Amber, and Katrin with Home Health; and Stonehenge for taking such good care of her.
